About Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad
With an aim to spread Sri Venkateswara Bhakti across the country and to preserve,
propagate and promote Hindu Sanatana Dharma, TTD has set up “Hindu Dharma Pratisthanam” (HDP) in for which,
TTD is extending Funds. It is one of the most important organizations of TTD. Subsequently, the nomenclature
of the institution was changed and renamed in the year 1979 as ‘Hindu Dharma Rakshana Samstha’ which was later
again renamed as “Dharma Prachara Parishad” (DPP) in the year 1987 through TTD Act 30 / 1987. This institution
was again named in the year 2007 as “Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad” (HDPP).
The agenda of the HDPP is to preserve,propagate and promote Hindu Dharma as the official dharmic face of TTD by
organising different devotional programmes and HDPP conducted various religious programs to bring the Lord closer
to his devotees and also to enhance and enrich the spiritual and devotional quotient in TTD activities.
Objectives:
Promotion and Propagation of the Hindu Dharma .
Establishment and maintenance of institutions for imparting instructions in the Hindu Dharma.
Preparation, publication and dissemination of knowledge and literature relating to the Hindu Dharma.
Training of Dharmacharyas, Dharmapracharakas and such other personnel for propagation of the Hindu Dharma.
Establishment and maintenance of institutions for imparting training in Vedas, Agamas and Smartha.
Conducting examinations and award certificates for Vedas, Agamas and Smartha subjects.
